We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager (f/m/d) to join our Group and contribute to our continued success.

The position will be ideally based in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France or Switzerland.

What is the role about?

Are you ready to take your strategic thinking and relationship-building skills to the next level? The Strategic Account Manager Metal (f/m/d) nurtures and expands long-term relationships with key clients, driving mutual growth, profitability, and trust. Focused on a select group of customers, they represent Endress+Hauser's full suite of offerings, innovating to meet evolving needs. Leading the account planning cycle, they ensure alignment with both customer and company objectives.

The metal industry represents a significant customer group for Endress+Hauser, encompassing manufacturers and processors reliant on precise instrumentation and automation solutions for their operations

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Cultivate robust and professional relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with Endress+Hauser personnel, orchestrating the engagement of support, service, and management resources to exceed account performance objectives and surpass customers' expectations.
  • Drive towards meeting assigned targets for sales volume profitability and strategic objectives within designated accounts, demonstrating keen business acumen and market insight.
  • Take the lead in proactively orchestrating a comprehensive joint company-strategic account planning process. This involves crafting mutually beneficial performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Spearhead solution development endeavors that precisely align with customer needs, leveraging the expertise of all pertinent Endress+Hauser personnel to deliver innovative and tailored solutions.

What do we expect from you?

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science, preferably in Engineering, MBA desired
  • Have Strategic Account Management and sales / business development experience
  • Are capable of strategic thinking and impacting without disciplinary authority
  • Can motivate and lead teams in a multicultural, multinational, and matrix environment
  • Possess fluent English language skills
  • Are willing to travel internationally as an integral part of the role
