Ground & Terminal Cost Controller

The Ground & Terminal Cost Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling the costs and the revenues associated with the Guest embarkation and disembarkation operations and services including port and terminal facilities, check-in, luggage handling, parking, Meet & Greet agents, and ground transportation.

The role oversees the Ground Cost Controlling Team and involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize costs, monitoring, and reporting on financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management or cost control. Experience in the cruise or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management and cost control principles and practices.
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs in a complex operational environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, external partners, and senior management.
  • Fluency in English, and any additional languages are a plus.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cost control strategy for Ground &Terminal operations that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of Ground & Terminal operations, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Develop and maintain budgets for Ground & Terminal operations, including labor, equipment, supplies, and other expenses, and ensure that actual expenses are in line with budgeted amounts.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including port authorities, ground transportation providers, and vendors, to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including financial reporting requirements, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to provide timely and accurate financial information to management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to support decisionmaking and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to Ground & Terminal Operations staff on financial management and cost control best practices.
