Job Purpose
- Manage airport operation to maintain and enhance Emirates' image, reputation, and passenger service levels.
- Implement and review strategies to ensure staff compliance with procedures and standards.
- Achieve Ground Handling performance targets for flight punctuality and check-in standards.
- Lead staff development and ensure adherence to operation standards.
- Perform administrative duties accurately and timely, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Develop local procedures and maintain relationships with internal/external departments and service providers.
- Accountable for budgeting, providing cost-efficient services, and analyzing performance.
- Conduct audits on Ground Handling agencies and customer touchpoints to maintain standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance with regulations.
- Responsible for managing the Passenger Service and Ground Operations Manual.
- Maintain ULD stock at the station as per allocation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educated up to degree level or equivalent.
- Extensive managerial experience in airport operations within the airline industry.
- Advanced expertise in Customer Services, Ground Operations, Baggage Claims, Reservations & Ticketing, and Weight and Balance.
- Awareness of DCS, Reservations, Baggage Reconciliation systems, and software packages.
- Knowledge of Flight Planning and Cargo Operations.
- Proven ability in leading, motivating, and developing staff.
- Ability to work under pressure with a high degree of initiative.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
