To integrate our development team and work on state-of-the-art project, we are looking for our new
Release Manager.**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan release windows and cycles across the product area considering the global release calendar
  • Schedule, lead and facilitate a weekly release management meeting
  • Schedule, manage and coordinate releases across all products within the product area across different teams and initiatives.
  • Manage and mitigate risks related to changes and releases, and resolve underlaying issues
  • In collaboration with the portfolio management teams, build and keep up to date a release calendar for the different initiatives to have a centralized view of all releases
  • Maintain a change/release repository and manage key information such as build and release processes, dependencies, and distribution lists
  • Setup effective dashboards to track and monitor all changes/releases
  • In collaboration with the portfolio management teams, maintain a consolidated view of environments usage containing key milestones, Initiatives, testing phases and Golives
  • Ensure that key change/release information such as environment availability and major change/release is shared with all stakeholders
  • Work with the product teams to identify and plan patching/upgrades/changes related to all thirdparty components used within the product area
  • Review changes and Release readiness and challenge major changes
  • Monitor the change/release process and collect feedback from the different teams as well as Maisons/Integrators for review and enhancement
  • Team up with the technical team to achieve continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) for a streamlined, automated change/release process
  • Ensure that change/release processes, tools, principles and guidelines are applied/used consistently throughout all teams within the product area, while allow for customization where it is fit for purpose
  • Enforce Principles and Guidelines defined by the Center of Excellence (CoE) Release, Support and Quality Assurance
  • Attend to the weekly Group Technology Change Advisory Board (GT CAB)
  • Report major changes to the Group Technology Change Advisory Board (GT CAB)
  • Work with the Product team and/or Program Manager to prepare change/release cutover
  • Communicate major release plans and important changes to all stakeholders including the business
  • Communicate change/release details mainly to Program Managers, Product Owners
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations (in the context of the Release Management)
  • Ensure that frameworks, tools, methodologies, and best practices are applied/used consistently throughout teams, while allow for customization where it is fit for purpose
  • Define and set up KPIs dashboard to measure the effectiveness of the Release and Change Management process
  • Actively contribute to the company's Release and Change Management Community of Practice (CoP)
  • Support the Product Area Manager in the preparation of Quarterly Alignment Days (QADs)
  • Liaise with and Support Program & Test Managers in Initiatives related Release plans and Cutover plans organization whatever environment
  • B.Sc. or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years' experience as Release Manager in an international environment
  • Experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
  • Knowledge of Trunk Based Development
  • Knowledge of Micro-Services / Cloud AWS would be a plus
  • Experience as a Program or Project Manager is an asset
  • Proven experience in eCommerce projects is a plus
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, code branching and versioning
  • Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (all levels)
  • Strong interpersonal, and communication skills and high attention
  • Ability to work in a complex, fastpaced, distributed environment with high expectations
  • Fluency in English and French required
