Ground & Terminal Operations Product Manager

The Ground & Terminal Operations Product Manager will be responsible for supervising the performances of the Ground and Terminal operations team, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and incompliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

The role involves coordinating with the Local head of Ground & Terminal operations and ensuring that guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience to join the terminal at the embarkation on the cruise ship and at the disembarkation journey.


  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Ground &Terminal operations in the cruise or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Ground transportation operations and regulations, as well as cruise terminal operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of operational staff.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Fluency in English, and any additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Supervise the delivery of the services at the designated area of operations, including checkin, luggage dropoff, screening, boarding, and disembarkation.
  • Oversee and be accountable of special projects to ensure the best efficiency in the main touch points of the Guest experience (checkin, luggage, ancillary, etc.).
  • Manage and allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure that all operational requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Product Development, Guest Services, Port Operations, Shore Excursions, BI, Marketing and Sales, to ensure that guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience at all touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with external partners, including port & terminal agents, ground providers, and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and positive guest experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health hand safety protocols, customs and immigration requirements, and port regulations.
  • Design and organize in coordination with the Local Head of operations the training and coaching to Ground & Terminal operations staff to ensure that they can perform their duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze operational data and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of Ground & Terminal operations, including guest satisfaction, efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Assist the Ground & Terminal Operations Sr Manager with the development and implementation of new products and services to enhance the guest experience and generate additional revenue.
