Founded in 2017, Unit8 is a fast-growing Swiss AI and data analytics company dedicated to solving complex problems of traditional industries like automotive, chemical, financial services, manufacturing and pharma.

Unit8's mission is to drive the adoption of AI and Data Science in the non-digital industries and to help accelerate their digital transformation.

Among its activities, Unit8 dedicates a part of its resources and time on projects that deeply matter to us - that includes collaboration on pro-bono and "engineering for good" cases.


Requirements:

What You'll Do
We are currently hiring for
a position that is part-time, approximately 50-60% of a full-time position.

Therefore, we are specifically looking for individuals who are seeking employment on a part-time basis and
are available for a few hours each day. It is important to note that this position requires on-site presence at our office.

While occasional remote work may be possible, the majority of the work will be conducted in our office environment.

  • Provide administrative support to the company's leadership team, including scheduling meetings & agendas, booking rooms, preparing documents, maintaining records, etc. and serve as the primary administrative and scheduling contact for the leadership team.
  • Provide administrative support to the company's Board of Directors (in coordination with partners), including scheduling meetings & agendas, booking rooms, preparing documents, maintaining records, arranging travel, etc.
  • Attend monthly meetings of the Board of Directors to keep minutes and organise their signatures.
  • Attend quarterly Summits of the company's leadership team to keep minutes and prepare summary protocols for the Board of Directors.
  • Perform office management functions (Lausanne office) such as mail distribution, vendor coordination, supply ordering and logístical coordination. Support the Lausanne engagement team in organising events and activities.
  • Support the Finance team in preparing yearly calendars, general assemblies and information sessions.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential written, electronic and oral communications discreetly. Compose highlevel correspondence independently and professionally. Provide assistance to team members as needed.

Are You the team member we are looking for?
In order to be successful in this role, you are/have:

  • Commercial Employee VTB (_Employé de commerce CFC_), secretarial / administrative management diploma.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international fastpaced environment. A startup experience is a plus.
  • Excellent professional written and spoken communication skills in English and French are essential. German is a big plus.
  • Outstanding attention to details, ability to handle multiple stakeholders and to adapt to various situations.
  • Optimism, "can do" attitude, discretion and service orientation.
  • We are specifically looking for individuals who are seeking employment on a parttime basis and are available for a few hours each day.
  • It is important to note that this position requires onsite presence at our office. Home office will be possible occasionally.
