What do we do ?:

Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and less noisy, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle of recharging.

Electra is constantly innovating to facilitate the recharging of electric vehicles with a network of fast recharging hubs (15 to 30 minutes maximum) and a user experience simplified to the maximum.Based in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Madrid and Munich
Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 14,500 charging points by 2030; proud to participate in the energy transition in France and Europe. For cities without noise and pollution

  • Secured enough stations to make Electra a market leader

Your Missions:


As Head of Operations, you will report to the Country Manager Switzerland, and will play a pivotal role in driving Electra's successful expansion in the country, accelerating the rollout process, and managing the complexities of scaling operations in Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Lead and coordinate deployment, operations teams, and coordination around company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Electra's quality and security standards.
  • Select and manage the relationship with our partners, ensure success in negotiating contracts with the aim of streamlining and optimizing costs.

Performance Management / Team Strategy:

  • Define and lead forecasts, set team and individual objectives.
  • Monitor the budget and manage expenses.
  • Develop annual roadmaps to ensure the best efficiency of the teams.

Management:

  • Team management, recruitment in alignment with forecasts.
  • Identify and implement training plans if necessary, evaluation, and development plans.
  • Be the spokesperson for the company's culture and values.

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in operations, project management and team leadership.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes to achieve cost savings and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities, capable of developing and executing deployment plans that are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams and engagement with external stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical skills to evaluate data and metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated autonomy and initiative in exploring and implementing new operational initiatives.
  • Ideally, comprehensive understanding of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, encompassing industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements, to inform deployment strategies and decisionmaking.
  • Fluency in English and German. French is a plus.
