We are looking for talented University Graduates Kick-start your career with our Focus-Track Graduate Program within the COO Division.

Our Graduate Program supports your individual journey to unleash your full potential.

We offer you three rotations in different teams, on- and off-the-job training, and the opportunity to start building your own network.

Each rotation is designed to provide you with in‐depth knowledge and a sound foundation to perform in your focus area and beyond.

One of these rotations will be an international assignment, enabling you to work abroad for a period of months.

Start date: 1 October 2024

Program duration: 18 months


Join the COO division and become part of the award winning (e.g., WealthBriefing European Awards 2022 "Best Innovative Use of Artificial Intelligence" and PWM "Best private bank for digitally empowering RMs") data analytics and machine learning team Target Insights in Zurich.

It is part of the Client Data & Life Cycle Management (CDLM) domain which has a focus on client analytics.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology and learn the JB technology stack in the MLOps Engineering team in IT.


You will work through all stages of an advanced analytics use case: business ideation, data gathering and data engineering as well as exploration, model training and selection, roll-out to users and operations of your algorithms (MLOps).

You work in a lean setup with focus on delivery.

For that you can always count on your team members and all other colleagues in the CDLM and IT department.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Identify opportunities for data science and spur data based innovations
  • Integrate and explore data from various internal and external sources
  • Select and train ML models and tune the parameters to improve the selected KPI
  • Design, implement and deploy cutting edge Deep Learning models for specific problems such as Semantic Search
  • Buildup in house AI capabilities: Work on foundation models with proprietary data
  • Visualize and interpret the results from ML models
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT department, other data science teams as
- well as risk units in Zurich and globally

  • Fostering the culture of analytics in the organization
  • Developing and testing robust prescriptive and predictive models that allows the division to deliver on the roadmap for analytics
  • Collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders globally to implement analytics solutions that create effectiveness and efficiency in various Banking processes.
  • Apply latest technology trends in a realworld scenario
  • Communicate effectively, understand, and make visible the value the data and developed solutions provided to the organization.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences with aboveaverage grades in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field and with a passion for financial markets can also
apply (sciences, business, hospitality)

  • Initial practical experience in the financial industry and expertise in banking products and financial markets are an asset
  • Sound theoretical understanding of core probability and statistics concepts, along with familiarity with popular machine learning methods (experience with Natural Language Processing is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL (experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau is a plus)
  • Strong analytical, conceptual skills and fast thinker
  • Very good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Independent, resilient, and teamoriented personality
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the willingness to take responsibility
  • Fluency in English, German and other languages an advantage
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland
