Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Accounting. This position involves comprehensive responsibility for the financial accounting of all subsidiaries, ensuring the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with legal, tax, and internal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial accounting operations, including all subsidiaries.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with legal, tax, and internal regulations.
- Manage the Accounting department, comprising over 12 employees, both on-site and at a shared delivery center.
- Plan and conduct external audits and manage cash operations, including liquidity and foreign currency management.
- Collaborate closely with Controlling, HC-Payroll, and other internal departments.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of business processes.
- Lead and collaborate on internal projects.
Requirements:
Several years of professional experience in a managerial accounting position within a similarly complex environment.
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and balance sheet security according to the Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Strong background in accounting (accounting & controlling expert, fiduciary expert, auditor, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Superior leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and guide the team.
- Ability to present and explain complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems, particularly SAP S/4 HANA.
- Fluency in German and English.
