Numab Therapeutics AG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Accounting. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting tasks, including the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Swiss Code of Obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS and the Swiss Code of Obligations.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss and international tax regulations, including VAT and other relevant taxes.
- Develop and maintain the company's accounting infrastructure and processes, including the internal control system.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Provide financial information and analysis to the Board of Directors and its committees.
- Take a leadership role in the growth and development of the accounting team.
- Certified Public Accountant or university degree in economics or business administration, preferably with a focus on finance.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, with experience in the life science sector being desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations and IFRS, including IFRS 2, 15, and 16.
- Understanding and practical experience with the Swiss tax framework, especially VAT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems.
- Business fluent in both written and spoken English, with German being a plus.
