Für die Stärkung unseres Analyse-Schwerpunkts suchen wir per 1. September 2024 oder nach Vereinbarung eine/n

Senior Data Analyst (m/w/d)

Pensum: 80%

Arbeitsort: St.Gallen

Was Sie erwartet
  • Leiten, Durchführen und Unterstützen von komplexen Projekten (methodisch anspruchsvolle Analyseprojekte, themenübergreifende Projekte)
  • Konzeptionelles und methodisches Weiter- und Neuentwickeln von Modellen zur Verbesserung von Planungsprozessen, inklusive neuer Statistiken («experimental statistics», Machine Learning/KI)
  • Beraten der Fachstellenleitung zur strategischen Weiterentwicklung der Datenanalyse, Datenarchitektur und der zunehmenden Automatisierung der Statistikproduktionsprozesse
  • Unterhalten und Weiterentwickeln der strategisch relevanten, neuen IT-Tools, der Analyse-Server, des Data Warehouse inklusive Schulung der Fachstellenmitarbeitenden und weiterer kantonaler Akteure
Was Sie auszeichnet
  • Master (vorzugsweise Doktorat) mit mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung in Datenanalysen und statistischer Modellierung
  • Erfahrung in der Leitung von komplexen Projekten, in der Beratung und im Wissenstransfer sowie in der Analyse von statistischen Daten, idealerweise im Bereich Machine Learning
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse der High-Level-Programmiersprachen (insbesondere R), gute SQL-Kenntnisse und idealerweise Erfahrung mit Linux
  • Effiziente, kreative und initiative Arbeitsweise
