Legal Counsel

As we continue to expand our global presence, we are looking for a dynamic legal counsel to join our team and build a proficient in-house legal function.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including software licensing agreements, service agreements, data sharing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Advise and support the Sales-Team as well as cross-functional teams to ensure our deals and contractual terms align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks.
- Provide oversight and guidance on laws and regulations relevant to the B2B SaaS and weather data industry
- Develop and implement templates, policies and procedures to ensure compliance, protect the company's intellectual property and follow data protection laws.
- Oversee and coordinate external counsel in legal matters
- Train and educate internal teams to enhance overall legal awareness within the organization.

**Your qualifications**:

- Master's degree or higher from an accredited law school
- 2-4 years of experience as Legal Counsel or Legal Analyst, preferably in a B2B technology or SaaS company or at a reputable law firm.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS contracts, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance and the ability to handle legal matters in an international context.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills in English (any additional language is a plus)
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independtly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
