This position will be responsible for managing the operations in the HR Front Offices in the respective geography with the support of a team of Cluster Leads. In addition this position is responsible for the operational management and delivery of Switzerland Front Office.

The role holder will also be responsible for the delivery of high-quality services, supporting business locations, clients and delivery against agreed performance targets across all Service Lines in scope (Talent Acquisition, Employee Lifecycle, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Global Mobility, People Analytics).

As part of the HR Operations leadership for Europe Region, the HR operations Hub lead contributes to the global roadmap and deliverables. An interesting opportunity to translate business and Function inputs into actions

Your responsibilities

  • Operational Management including people Management and financial responsibilities (budgeting, forecasting, monitoring)
  • Lead the HR Front Office and Switzerland team
  • Define and drive people management strategy of the HR (e.g. workforce planning, training, engagement, mentoring, succession planning, incentives and retention) and lead by example
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are accomplished according to internal policies and legal requirements
  • Encourage open discussion of development needs for the team or individuals. Seek to understand the retention of individual top performers and take action
  • Continuously analyze operational performance, address issues across the teams and implement a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Implement Lean approaches to deliver efficiencies through standard processes and synergies
  • Establish and maintain close interaction, communication and two-way feedback between HR

Your background

  • Masters Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in HR or Shared Services Operations (insourced or outsourced), managing virtual, cross culture teams
  • Experience in a leadership role managing teams of min 10-25 employees
  • High degree of client orientation and service mind-set
  • Strong analytical skills, initiative and ingenuity to solve complex problems and implement remedial measures
  • High degree of structure and self-organization and result orientation
  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Ability to build relations across various teams / countries / cultures
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation skills)
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
  • Sound Operations & project management experience
  • Lean Sigma / Six Sigma quality and process improvement experience would be an added benefit
