**Job Description Summary**:
The **Steam Value Stream Lean Leader** is responsible for working with Global Supply Chain (GSC) Lean and Steam Value Stream Leadership to implement a lean strategy that aligns with the GSC Lean Vision and the needs of the Steam Value Stream

**Responsibilities**:

- As the Steam Value Stream Lean Leader, you will be responsible for the direction (Lean Roadmaps), execution (improvements plans), and coaching of each individual site
- You will drive improvement in SQDC aligned with both the Value Stream’s annual objectives as well as the GSC Lean Objectives of creating flow, reducing lead time, and problem solving

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in lean deployment in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of SQDC improvement
- Previous single piece flow line creation and problem-solving experience driving 50%+ lead time reduction
- Moonshine experience including new machine development and execution on the shop floor
- Experience driving significant improvements in TPM, SMED, and process yield
- Ability and willingness to travel 33% of the time both global and domestic.

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Shingijutsu or Toyota Production System (TPS) training.
- Strong interpersonal and demonstrated leadership experience in the Sr. Manager, Director Level.
- Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Machining experience
