Deliverables
Deliverable 1. Concept note and outline describing the proposed training package that can be circulated among the Global Health Cluster SRH Task Team sub-group for feedback prior to development of the training package.Expected by: 15 July 2024. Deliverable 2. Initial draft of the training package ready to circulate to the Global Health Cluster SRH Task Team sub-group and other stakeholders as relevant for comments and feedback.
Expected by: 15 August 2024. Deliverable 3. Revised version of the training package, taking into account feedback received during review of Deliverable 2, in a state ready to be used for pilot testing.
Expected by: 30 September 2024. Deliverable 4. Protocol/plan for pilot testing including a description of: objectives, location and collaborators, methods/approach to be used collecting feedback on the draft training package and timeline.
Expected by: 30 October 2024.
Qualifications, experience, skills and languages
Educational Qualifications:
Essential:
Advanced university degree in a relevant subject (including but not limited to: medicine/midwifery/nursing/subjects allied to medicine, epidemiology, social sciences, international relations, public health, health emergency planning, health services management etc.).
Experience:
Essential:
Minimum of 5-10 years relevant professional experience working in SRMNH in two or more humanitarian settings; Demonstrated experience working within field of monitoring and evaluation, including with routine health information system data; and Demonstrated experience in planning and/or developing training materials.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of technical issues relevant to monitoring and evaluation of SRMNH within humanitarian settings; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent ability to visualize descriptive statistical information; Excellent attention to detail; Ability to work independently and efficiently whilst working remotely from other members of the team; and Ability to produce high-quality outputs whilst working to short deadlines.

Expert knowledge of English.Desirable:
Knowledge of other UN languages an asset.

Off site: Home-based.
Travel
The consultant is not expected to travel.
Remuneration and budget (travel costs are excluded):
Remuneration:
Band level B - USD 7,000 - 9,980 per month.
Living expenses (A living expense is payable to on-site consultants who are internationally recruited):
