Are you looking forward to working in close collaboration with the front desks, as well as the various Risk, Legal and Compliance functions?
For our legal entity Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers (Vontobel SFA), a US licensed Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), we are looking for a WM Process & Quality Specialist (PQS) who will act as a key partner to support Desk Heads, Relationship Managers and Assistants on process, regulatory and quality assurance topics.

What would your role be?

  • Identify/propose process improvements and support to establish a sound risk & efficiency culture within the market.
  • US Market acknowledgement.
  • Single Point of entry for process, regulatory and quality assurance related topics within the front Desks.
  • Ensure a smooth information flow on processes/regulatory/quality assurance topics within the Desk (incl. training).
  • Pre-checks, alerts and deficiencies remediation support (Suitability Review, KYC, Pending items, PICH, Risk Reports, etc.).
  • Drive technical on-boarding and coaching of new joiners and act as coach for trainees.
  • Opening of Complex Structures (Companies /Trusts /Foundations/Offshore companies’ business).
  • Review and approve account opening documentation and KYC.
  • Support the tracking and analysis of operational incidents and implementation of adequate measures.
  • Act as sparring partner to the Desk Head on process and quality issues and processes.

What are we looking for?

  • Understanding of legal and regulatory topics
  • Deep understanding of processes, account opening (documentation) and KYC (Know your customer) requirements both for natural as well as legal persons.
  • Deep experience on process onboarding for Complex Structures (Companies, Trusts, Foundations/Offshore companies’ business)
  • Problem solving mentality.
  • Used to work independently and interact with a broad number of stakeholders across the organization.
  • Fluency in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with Avaloq are a plus
