Job Description

We are recruiting for our client a Core IP Engineer. You will be at the heart of strategic development and the expansion of their network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Development and Expansion
Design a multi-year roadmap for network expansion. Conduct traffic analysis and forecast future needs. Collaborate with various teams to align network objectives with business goals.

Network Architecture and Design
Create high-performance and secure network architectures. Develop detailed diagrams and design documentation. Test and evaluate new technologies proposed by vendors.

Configuration and Deployment
Install and configure network equipment (routers, firewalls, etc.). Perform regular updates and optimizations. Maintain configuration reports and deployment schedules.

Security and Integration
Implement security measures to protect the network. Troubleshoot complex network issues using advanced tools. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of the IP network. Develop and implement monitoring and optimization procedures. Participate in the 24/7/365 on-call support team.



Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in IP networks, with a specialization in security.

Certifications:
CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, or equivalents.

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of IP protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, CGNAT).

Tools:
Experience with Wireshark, Librenms, Grafana, Telegraph, Nagios.

Scripting Languages:
Python, Ansible.

Analytical Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience with a minimum of 10 years as a Solutions Architect or a similar role. - Strong understanding of enterprise-level IT architectures, systems, and technologies. - Very good knowledge of CRM solutions and associated functions (sales management, product catalog, offer management, e-shop, service provisioning, care, self-care, billing, invoicing). Knowledge in MS Dynamics or Salesforce is a plus. - Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, security, database systems, and API/REST services design. - Proficiency in using architecture modeling tools and methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with an internet service provider. - Strong understanding of enterprise network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VoIP, VPBX, and cloud-based architectures. - Strong understanding of end-to-end processes (from offer to cash, etc.). - Hands-on mentality. - Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence. - Very good oral and written communication in English. French and German are a plus.
