WM Cross Border Manager

Description

Wealth Management (WM) plays a major part in our strategy, we are investing significantly in Wealth Management to fuel our growth, particularly in Europe (onshore), the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. We provide a complete range of private banking products and services, including a variety of investment management and advisory mandates, tailored to our clients' specific requirements, objectives and risk profiles. Among UBP professional partners, over 300 independent asset managers have chosen us as their custodian bank, valuing our personalized, flexible services and our transparent fee structure.

Mission

Bring support and expertise to WM function in all aspects relating to cross border regulatory framework (Business As Usual and Projects).Ensure the Bank’s cross border framework is up to date, efficient and effective.

Challenges

Ensure alignment of Cross Border framework with Bank’s risk appetiteParticipate in the Cross Border Activities Committee of the Bank.

Main responsibilities

·Ensure full availability of country manuals and e-learnings according to markets covered by the WM & AM activities.

·Ensure timely completion of trainings by WM Front Office.

·Coordinate trainings with the support of Learning & Development team.

·Manage the relationship with the external Country Manuals provider.

·Ensure appropriate adaptation of provider’s manuals to the Bank’s Risk Appetite and strategy.

·Maintain and develop the Cross Border’s control framework in adequation with the overall control framework (investment and banking services restrictions, sanctions, etc).

·Maintain and develop the MIS and reporting around Cross Border control framework and activities.

·Develop and perform control activities around Cross Border framework (thematic reviews, business trips, investments, conduct,…)

·Participate in projects requiring Cross Border expertise

·Act as a permanent secretary of the Cross Border Activities Committee of the Bank.

·Any other task required by Management in the context of the employee’s main mission.

Education

Education: Master Degree IT Tools: •High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint.MS Power BI, SQL language, MS Power Query, SAP Busines

Experience

Years of experience: 3-7 : intermediate Experience required: Min 3 years in Cross Border management in a Swiss banking environment, proficiency in Compliance and Regulatory matters surrounding Wealth Management business in Switzerland (Notably FinSA). Experience in private banking: Mandatory

Language

English: Fluent French: Fluent
