In Switzerland, the GWS division provides technical, infrastructural and commercial facility management services for clients from various industries For our growing Facility Management organization at a client in Geneva we are looking for a: Regional Alliance Director About the Role: As a CBRE Regional Alliance Director, you will assist with the oversight of the department responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with client accounts of strategic significance This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating staff functions and operations that support the organization's goals and strategies Your main tasks:• Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues• Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports• Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities• Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities• Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects• Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans• Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity• Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department• Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline Your profile:• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems• Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
