You will be working in Zurich, and we aim to onboard you in February 2026.As part of Schroders Capital, you will assist team members in the management and fundraising of our private equity funds and mandate solutions.The teamSince forming in 1997, Schroders Capital's private equity business has successfully expanded into all areas of private equity – global Venture Capital, European and US buyouts, Asia Growth, with investment teams on the ground in Zurich, London, New York, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and Seoul. The private equity team comprises >190 professionals and currently has AuM of USD >25bn. The role will be within the Product and Solutions Management team comprising of 12 people.What you'll doThe Working Student will have significant responsibilities from day one and become an integral part of the team, with high levels of interaction with investment professionals, client directors and other inhouse functions . Key responsibilities for the Working Student will include focus around client deliverables and product development, primarily focusing on:Working in close alignment with Investment, Fund Operations and Legal teams for the development and management of private equity funds and mandatesSupporting the preparation of Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), pitch books and other materialsPreparing and gathering competitor information on products and investment strategies, including comparable performance dataSupporting the sales teams in their business activities, including but not limited to providing information on Schroder Capital's products, RFPs, dataroom management and handling client information requestsReviewing and overseeing of sales pipeline and CRM systems (Salesforce) to ensure information is up to date and accurate for management reporting purposesThe knowledge, experience and qualifications you needEnrolled student at a university or university of applied sciencesExcellent academic backgroundOne previous internship/previous experience in one of the following areas is beneficial: M&A, Financial Services, Private Equity or ConsultingFluency in English and ideally German; a further European language is a plusStrong analytical and writing skillsWhat you'll be likeStandout colleague – willingness to learn and to evolve in a team with a flat hierarchical structureGreat attention to details, highly organized with a structured approach to deliverablesCurious with a "can do" attitudeWe recognise potential, whoever you areOur purpose is to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management.
