Are you ready to take ownership of high-value data center construction projects and play a key role in the continued growth of STACK Infrastructure across EMEA?STACK Infrastructure is currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join our high-performing EMEA Commercial Team, which oversees more than €1 billion in annual capital expenditure. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the day-to-day commercial management of complex, high-value data center projects — from pre-contract planning to post-contract delivery.You'll drive cost optimization, maintain financial control, manage commercial risk, and ensure accurate and timely reporting to support business decisions. Working closely with Senior Commercial Managers and Commercial Directors, you'll help shape project outcomes across one of the most dynamic and fast-paced environments in the infrastructure space. Fluency in both German and English is essential, as this role requires regular collaboration with regional stakeholders and external partners.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial delivery of major data center construction projects across EMEAOptimize construction costs while ensuring financial discipline and controlOwn and maintain project budgets and CAPEX models to inform business planningDeliver accurate and timely cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysisManage external consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders across disciplinesSupport procurement, supply chain, and contract management activitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Construction, Finance & Operations teamsStay ahead of regional regulatory developments and best practicesPersonal competenciesHighly motivated and commercially astute, with a strong appreciation for the role of Development & Construction within the broader business strategyFluent in German and English – both technical and professional communicationExcellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and convey complex technical matters clearlyDemonstrates a strong sense of urgency and accountability in driving project deliveryPrioritizes health, safety, and wellbeing in all aspects of workResults-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset and a focus on evolving business practicesFluent in both German and English, with the ability to communicate professionally and technically in both languages Job practicalities / Skills7+ years' experience in commercial management of complex construction projectsBachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction, Finance, or related fieldExperience with data center or major infrastructure projects in Germany/SwitzerlandSkilled in full lifecycle commercial activities (pre- and post-construction)Track record of setting commercial strategies and managing project teamsStrong stakeholder management, reporting, and collaboration skillsInnovative thinker, cost-conscious, and delivery-focusedProactive approach to health, safety, and wellbeingThrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environmentsSTACK OffersBe part of a leading company in the Data Centre industry, committed to innovation and sustainabilityA positive, dynamic and inclusive work environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsAll applications will be treated confidentially.
