In this pivotal role, you will drive growth and diversification across your assigned area, develop tailored products and pricing strategies, and deliver customized solutions that meet specific customer needs.You'll strengthen operational-level customer relationships, coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and external suppliers, and ensure smooth job execution. Your commitment to quality will be key, as you implement ISO standards, manage documentation, handle non-conformities, and oversee job accounting.As a strategic contributor, you'll play a vital role in achieving annual goals and targets, all while adhering to our robust quality management system.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with management, setting annual (short, mid and long term) goals & targets in regards to operations and sales activitiesManage and fulfill customer requirements and coordinate internally with the involved departmentsEnsure compliance with KPI targets internal and externalManagement of the assigned Team:Annual performance review with team members Employee development Resource planning (e.g. Vacation, Sick-leave etc) Team meetings Ensure compliant execution of operational and respective quality related procedures within the department to comply with internal and external quality requirements i.e. process, documentation, non-conformity handling and job accounting. Ensure compliant execution of assigned activities to achieve budget objectives Ensure respect of regulations, security/safety, quality, internal business rules within the department. Ensure compliant monthly file closing and invoicing.Direct procurement of service & capacity on area/local level, to ensure product continually meets the needs of clientsEnsure respect of regulations, security/safety, quality, internal business rulesProvide Monthly Management updates, Reporting and Statistics (Volumes, KPI's)Analyze existing and new business opportunities and prepare professional market reports to client basePreparation of budgets for the Business, as well as adherence of the budgetSupport and consulting of customers and agents as well as further development of business relationsQualificationsExtensive forwarding experience, minimum of 5 yearsDetailed knowledge of logistics/ transportation industry business systemsExperienced in process focused customer serviceExperience in leadership of employees What AIT Can Offer YouIn addition to a competitive salary and benefits package, we offer great programs for our employees.
