This role is instrumental in strengthening our presence and driving sustainability growth in Switzerland.Role purposeAs a Sales Director Switzerland, you will be responsible for developing and executing a national sales strategy, managing a commercial team, and contributing to the growth of Coface's credit insurance, business information, and service offerings. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will ensure strong business performance, client satisfaction, and cross-functional collaboration.YOUR MAIN MISSIONSCommercial Strategy & ExecutionDefine and execute the commercial strategy aligned with Coface's regional objectives and global visionManage the national sales place, including setting targets, forecasting sales, and overseeing budgetsManage, coach and motivate the Sales team to build a dynamic pipeline and optimize conversion rateDevelop and implement market development plans to expand our footprint in SwitzerlandPromote cross-selling of Coface products, including Credit Insurance, Business Information, and Debt Collection servicesRepresent Coface at external events and coordinate presence in targeted events to strengthen brand and product awarenessActively ensure compliance with all Coface policies and proceduresTeam Leadership & Performance ManagementLead, coach, and motivate the Swiss commercial team to achieve ambitious sales goalsConduct regular performance review, set KPIs, and ensure skills development across the teamEncourage a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client focusClient & Market EngagementStrengthen relationships with key clients, brokers, and partners to maximize retention and growthChampion customer-centric solutions in collaboration with underwriting, risk, and service teamsMonitor market trends and competitor activity to adapt sales approaches effectivelyReporting & ForecastingEnsure regular and accurate sale reporting, including pipeline status, forecasts and profitabilityPresent results and strategic recommendations to senior managementContribute to cross-border projects and business planning at the region levelQualificationsCANDIDATE PROFILE EducationMaster's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking or equivalentAFA Insurance Intermediary Certificate (Non-Life module)ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales or commercial leadership roles, ideally in financial services or insuranceProven expression managing teams and leading strategic sales initiativesStrong understanding of Swiss market dynamics and customer expectationsCompetenciesStrong leadership in a hands-on and strategic mindsetResults-oriented and data-driven, with excellent analytical and planning skillsNatural communicator with influencing skills across senior stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a matrixed, international environmentFull fluency in English as well as in German or FrenchStrong digital literacy (CRM tools, reporting tools, MS Office, etc)Additional InformationWhy join Coface?Be part of a global leader in trade credit insurance and risk managementA strategic role with direct impact on business decisionsCollaborative and inclusive work cultureCompetitive compensation and benefits package (training, health insurance contribution, pension fund)Opportunities for professional development and international exposureReady to make trade safer with us?Send us your CV, motivation letter, diplomas, and work certificates in English – we're eager to discover how you'll help shape the future of trade at Coface.
