A leading global IT services and consulting firm is conducting a confidential search for a seasoned Strategic Account Executive to lead key client relationships. The ideal candidate comes from system integrator companies. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for driving growth, transformation, and delivery excellence across a portfolio of strategic accounts in Switzerland and globally.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing large-scale client engagements, shaping transformation programs, and influencing C-level stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to operate at the intersection of business strategy, digital innovation, and global delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership: Own and manage executive-level relationships across a portfolio of high-value Consumer Goods clients.
  • Growth Strategy: Develop and execute multi-year account plans to drive revenue growth, expand service offerings, and capture transformation opportunities.
  • End-to-End Engagement: Lead the full lifecycle of client engagement—from strategic planning and solutioning to delivery and outcome realization.
  • Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (CIO, COO, CMO, CDO), influencing digital and business transformation agendas.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Guide global teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with client priorities.
  • Industry Insight: Apply deep Consumer Goods sector knowledge to bring forward-thinking perspectives on trends, technologies, and business models.
  • Global Coordination: Manage multi-country engagements, ensuring seamless collaboration across geographies.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Industry & Consulting Expertise: 10+ years in client leadership roles within IT services or consulting, ideally with a focus on Consumer Goods clients.
  • Account Growth: Proven success in managing and growing strategic accounts exceeding €50M annually.
  • Leadership Exposure: Experience in senior roles at top-tier consultancies or global IT service providers.
  • Business Development: Strong capability in building C-suite relationships, shaping transformation deals, and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Global Mindset: Experience managing international clients and multicultural teams.
  • Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with digital commerce, cloud, supply chain transformation, consumer analytics, and sustainability.
  • Languages: English fluent, German or French is a strong and preferred asset.
