What You'll Do

As an Account Executive for Swiss Telco and Retail accounts, you will play a strategic leadership role in shaping the AI journey for these key customers. You'll define account strategies, set direction, and orchestrate a cross-functional team—including systems engineering, customer success, consulting, and renewals—to deliver on ambitious goals.
Your mission is to drive growth and transformation by deepening relationships, expanding account potential, and generating incremental recurring revenue. You'll showcase the value of Teradata innovations in agentic AI and knowledge platforms, helping customers unlock new opportunities and achieve measurable outcomes
Who You'll Work With
- You'll collaborate with a talented team of system engineers, success managers, consultants, and renewal specialists, while partnering closely with channel partners, CSPs, and leading technology providers such as Dell and NVIDIA. This role reports directly to the VP, Central & Eastern Europe.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling Cloud and Hybrid solutions using value-based selling approaches.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the telecommunications market with active relationships, or Strong network within the Swiss retail market.
- Enterprise Solutions Experience: Skilled in selling analytics, machine learning, and other enterprise-grade solutions.
- Cloud Solutions Sales: Extensive experience driving adoption of cloud technologies.
- AI Knowledge: Solid understanding of current AI trends and their impact on enterprise solutions .
What You'll Bring
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years as a Senior Account Manager handling large, strategic accounts.
- Leadership: Ability to lead teams and set direction, even when team members do not report directly to you.
- Business Development: Proven track record of identifying new opportunities, selling value-based solutions, and demonstrating ROI.
- Executive Access: Strong network with C-level executives and ability to leverage existing relationships in this market.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German (written and spoken).
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly evolving technology sector.
