In this key role, you will lead and develop the global Operations Controlling Organization and act as a strategic business partner to the COO and the CFO. You will create transparency, establish standards, and drive performance measurements across our global supply chain and manufacturing network.

Head of Controlling Global Operations (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Lead and develop the global Operations Controlling function with five direct reports and 25 global finance teams part of Global Operations
  • Develop and enhance financial and operational performance management systems
  • Oversee monthly and annual closings in Operations, with a focus on operational profitability and net working capital management
  • Manage the annual budget and Capex planning processes for Operations
  • Provide financial steering for strategic projects, M&A due diligence, and ad-hoc analyses
  • Support the definition and execution of the global Operations Strategy (e.g., footprint, acquisition integrations, operational excellence, digitalization, continuous improvement)
  • Drive process harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in controlling in a globally manufacturing company with multiple production sites (required)
  • Proven experience leading global teams or projects
  • Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma, and/or Operational Excellence
  • Solid skills in MS Office and SAP
  • Strong change-management and organizational development capabilities
  • Analytical, quick-minded, and reliable with an operations-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
