AP Executive are working with an independent provider of fiduciary services to wealthy international families. Headquartered in Zurich with licenses international offices, the firm specializes in bespoke wealth structuring, governance, administration, and related accounting services for global businesses, wealth-owning families, family enterprises, and entrepreneurs. With expertise in cross-border legal, tax, and international regulatory requirements, the group assists clients in managing multi-jurisdictional businesses, enhancing family and corporate governance, preserving wealth, addressing risk and privacy concerns, and implementing family succession and philanthropic plans.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance matters and risk management initiatives meet statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Represent the organization in all external compliance functions.
  • Liaise with external compliance entities to ensure adherence to licensing requirements.
  • Act as regulatory compliance officer (excluding Isle of Man), MLRO, and potentially DPO, overseeing regulatory codes, AML/CFT, GDPR, FATCA/CRS.
  • Manage the compliance function, keep regulatory registers, maintain policies & procedures, and complete regulatory reporting.
  • Supervise a compliance deputy for technical and administrative support.
  • Conduct business risk and client entity risk assessments.
  • Ensure robust CDD & EDD procedures for new business onboarding.
  • Design, deliver, and oversee staff training on risk & compliance topics.
  • Coordinate with the board of directors and shareholder representatives on compliance and risk matters.
  • Lead AML/CFT/risk & compliance reviews and audits, both internal and external.
  • Ensure FATCA/CRS reporting obligations are fulfilled and compliant.

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified compliance professional with experience in fiduciary services, meeting necessary regulatory criteria to serve as compliance officer/MLRO.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Ability to interpret complex rules and regulations into effective policies and procedures.
  • Professional, organized, and communicative with a proactive and pragmatic approach.
