As a Head of Strategic Procurementyou will:

Your tasks
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that reduce total cost of ownership while improving quality, standards and delivery performance
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives from spend analysis to supplier selection and negotiation ensuring compliance and business efficiency
  • Negotiate and manage supplier and vendor contracts resolving disputes and ensuring best value outcomes in line with policies and regulations
  • Analyze spend data market trends and supplier performance to identify new sourcing opportunities and optimize procurement results
  • Collaborate closely with Operational and Indirect Procurement teams to develop long term strategic sourcing agreements, supplier partnerships and performance
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business Administration or Economics with additional Supply Chain or Purchasing qualification required
  • Proven professional experience in a technical environment with aviation industry background strongly preferred
  • Expertise in Purchasing Supply Chain Management and strategic sourcing required
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a collaborative team-oriented work style
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results driven mindset
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build strong supplier relationships
  • Language proficiency German C1 and English C1 required
