Your Tasks

  • Authoring descriptive, operational and procedural data modules or page blocks to ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications. Working from engineering reports, 2D drawings, 3D models
  • Lead author on required projects, responsible for co-ordination with external authoring support and internal engineering departments
  • Production of service bulletins and maintenance manuals for all Pilatus aircraft
  • Liaising with the illustrating team for the creation of associated graphical support
  • Co-ordination with Pilatus departments for the Design Organisation Authority approval of all technical publications
  • Maintaining task tracking processes to ensure on time delivery

With this you convince us

  • Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, formal technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in aviation maintenance
  • Minimum 8 years' experience as a technical author writing aircraft technical documentation to the ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications
  • Primary experience should be in AMM authoring with knowledge of SBs
  • Familiarity with Arbortext Editor, Oxygen Editor, Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Office suite as well as experience in working within a Common Source Data Base (CSDB) environment
  • Strong knowledge in the use of ASD Simplified Technical English
  • Fluency in English (C1) with good communication skills, knowledge of German would be an advantage
