Your Tasks - Authoring descriptive, operational and procedural data modules or page blocks to ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications. Working from engineering reports, 2D drawings, 3D models - Lead author on required projects, responsible for co-ordination with external authoring support and internal engineering departments - Production of service bulletins and maintenance manuals for all Pilatus aircraft - Liaising with the illustrating team for the creation of associated graphical support - Co-ordination with Pilatus departments for the Design Organisation Authority approval of all technical publications - Maintaining task tracking processes to ensure on time delivery With this you convince us - Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, formal technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in aviation maintenance - Minimum 8 years' experience as a technical author writing aircraft technical documentation to the ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications - Primary experience should be in AMM authoring with knowledge of SBs - Familiarity with Arbortext Editor, Oxygen Editor, Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Office suite as well as experience in working within a Common Source Data Base (CSDB) environment - Strong knowledge in the use of ASD Simplified Technical English - Fluency in English (C1) with good communication skills, knowledge of German would be an advantage What we offer - A committed, international team and unique projects - Flexible working hours and individual pension solutions - Support for training and opportunities for personal and professional development - Discounted meals in our staff restaurant and various discounts for employees - Team events at which we celebrate our successes together
