Your Tasks Authoring descriptive, operational and procedural data modules or page blocks to ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications, based on engineering reports, 2D drawings, and 3D models. Production of CMM, AMM and TEM manuals for all Pilatus aircrafts. Liaising with the illustrating team for the creation of associated graphical support. Co‑ordination with Pilatus departments for the Design Organisation Authority approval of all technical publications. Maintaining task tracking processes to ensure on‑time delivery. Investigation for the creation of CMMs in Oxygen and/or Arbortext editor instead of FrameMaker. Qualifications Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, formal technical training, or equivalent hands‑on experience in aviation maintenance. Minimum 5 years' experience as a technical author writing aircraft technical documentation to the ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications. Primary experience should be in AMM and CMM documentation authoring. Familiarity with Arbortext Editor, Oxygen Editor, Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Office suite, and experience working within a Common Source Data Base (CSDB) environment. Strong knowledge in the use of ASD Simplified Technical English. Fluency in English (C1) with good communication skills; knowledge of German is an advantage.
