Help our clients successfully manage global challenges
As a Consultant in the Global Employer Services (GES) team, you will provide multi-national companies with targeted advice and strategies for running Global Mobility programs in an efficient manner. Our team supports clients with the end-to-end management of global compensation for internationally mobile employees and optimization of Tax and compliance conditions. As part of the US Tax team, you will advise on US tax returns and compliance topics.

How You Can Make An Impact

• Coordinate our global tax compliance services including liaising directly with clients and Deloitte offices worldwide.
• Prepare US individual income tax returns for US resident and nonresident taxpayers, including Forms 114, 8938, 1116, 2555, 8858, and other forms specific to US residents with activities outside the United States.
• Prepare tax reconciliations and tax equalization calculations and take over various other tasks related to the successful management of Global Mobility programs for our clients
• Interpret and implement International Assignment Policies and ensure consistent global tax treatment of various assignment compensation items and allowances.
• Advise our clients on the tax and social security implications related to various global employment issues including tax residency, avoidance of double taxation and the taxation of complex compensation such as severance payments, long term and short term incentive income.

Who We Are Looking For

• You have successfully completed your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accountancy, or Law.
• Ideally you have some US tax experience/knowledge and hold, are pursuing, or will pursue the relevant qualification (e.g. EA, CPA, etc).
• Experience in global mobility or a "Big-4" firm is a plus.
• You are curious to find answers, take the initiative and are happy taking on responsibility and like to work in project teams with a systematic approach.
• You communicate fluently in English. Any further languages would be an advantage.
