About The Role
As our Internal Communications Manager, you'll craft compelling narratives that translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences. You'll split your time between overarching divisional communications and supporting a significant transformation project, giving you exposure to both strategic and operational aspects of a global finance organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated internal communications strategy aligned with GFO&T and Group Finance transformation priorities
- Prepare engaging content including announcements, presentations, newsletters, intranet content, and leadership messages
- Partner with stakeholders across Business and IT teams, transformation groups, and subject-matter experts to ensure accurate, consistent, and well-timed communication
- Establish communication plans and channels that enhance transparency and keep employees informed
- Analyze audience needs and tailor messaging to different units, functions, and stakeholder groups
- Measure effectiveness through feedback loops to continuously improve communication impact
- Support change initiatives by translating complex or technical topics into accessible messages
- Foster collaboration across teams through proactive, clear communication
About The Team
Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the division responsible for accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information for global Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Global as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re's legal entities, including SST and Solvency 2. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Global Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective, forward-looking organisation. The GFO&T Strategy & Transformation Office is in charge of defining and aligning the GFO&T strategy in close alignment with the leadership team and driving the Finance transformation on the divisional level, while delivering high-quality senior stakeholder reporting and managing the divisional budget and divisional operations.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Meet These Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, change communications, or a related field—ideally within Finance, Insurance, or other complex global organisations
- Proven ability to design and deliver communication strategies and materials for broad and diverse internal audiences
- Strong storytelling, creativity, writing, editing, and messaging skills, with an ability to tailor communication to different stakeholder groups
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working on evolving and fast-changing topics
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
These Are Additional Nice To Haves
- Experience with communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet CMS, newsletters, digital workplaces, collaboration tools)
- Understanding of Finance processes and/or (Re)insurance
- Fluent English and German, preferably native English writing and oral skills; additional languages are a plus
For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between CHF and CHF for a full-time role.

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
