Your Tasks
- Authoring descriptive, operational and procedural data modules or page blocks to ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications. Working from engineering reports, 2D drawings, 3D models
- Production of CMM, AMM and TEM manuals for all Pilatus aircrafts
- Liaising with the illustrating team for the creation of associated graphical support
- Co-ordination with Pilatus departments for the Design Organisation Authority approval of all technical publications
- Maintaining task tracking processes to ensure on time delivery
- Investigation for the creation of CMMs in Oxygen and/or Arbortext editor instead of FrameMaker
With this you convince us
- Electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, formal technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in aviation maintenance
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a technical author writing aircraft technical documentation to the ASD S1000D and iSpec 2200 specifications
- Primary experience should be in AMM and CMM documentation authoring
- Familiarity with Arbortext Editor, Oxygen Editor, Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Office suite. Experience of working within a Common Source Data Base (CSDB) environment
- Strong knowledge in the use of ASD Simplified Technical English
- Fluency in English (C1) with good communication skills, knowledge of the German language would be an advantage
