Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a:

Bioprocess Engineer – Biologics

on a 12 months-contract, with possibilities of extension afterwards, in
Valais region, Switzerland.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the roll-out of new SAP functionalities, with a focus on change management documentation and updating GMP manufacturing documentation (SOPs, batch records, etc.).
  • Act as a functional lead across interdisciplinary teams, including production staff, supervisors, and specialists.
  • Be accountable for the successful implementation and execution of assigned improvement projects.
  • Develop and implement training documentation for manufacturing, logistics, and other related areas.
  • Provide technical support for clinical and/or commercial downstream manufacturing in defined areas such as capture, purification, polishing, or drug substance filling.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related life sciences (BSc, MSc, or PhD).
  • Significant hands-on experience in Biologics manufacturing, especially in Downstream Processing (chromatography, filtration, etc.) or BioConjugates.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, MES, and SAP with a focus on logistics and material management (BOM).
  • Experienced in developing training and manufacturing documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (both required).
  • Project management skills with a structured, solution-oriented working style.
