Location: Visp, Valais

Contract: Temporary - 9 months

Your Responsibilities

  • As a Bioprocess Engineer, you will ensure the accurate execution of production campaigns in compliance with cGMP guidelines.
  • Prepare and review risk assessments and implement resulting corrective actions.
  • Oversee batch execution, analyze test results, troubleshoot production issues, and propose effective solutions for equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain complete documentation of processes and process knowledge, ensuring full GMP compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for processes, equipment, and workflows in collaboration with cross-functional teams (including R&D) to enhance efficiency and optimize asset utilization.
  • Take responsibility for training employees on assigned products (campaign training) and contribute to broader training efforts on cross-project topics and daily operations.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (University or FH) in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnological manufacturing, preferably in Operations.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Solid understanding of GMP requirements.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, combined with excellent communication abilities.
  • Structured, cross-functional, and focused approach to work.
  • Highly organized and open to new ideas and suggestions.
  • Experience with Operations and familiarity with TrackWise is a strong advantage.
