Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a senior project manager. This exciting role within the Special Projects team is critical to delivering on some of our core transformation projects.

What you will do

The senior project manager role is critical to the success of our projects. You will connect with a variety of people on a daily basis across the Multinational network, and global underwriting teams. You will lead projects forward, and manage the various stakeholders involved. This role is more than rolling out projects – you will need to bring structure to ambiguous topics; understand how project streams come together and impact on one another; and have the ability to understand the key UW content and process components in order to translate them into a workable plan. You will work with senior people across the globe and will help them deliver on strategic projects.

• Developing business cases for new opportunities
• Leading key projects related to automation and product expansion
• Managing project plans and delivery of specific deliverables to scope and timeframe
• Working with our project governance framework
• Working with the core project streams to keep projects on track – global underwriting, IT, network service management, Service Centre Spain, wording operations team
• Understanding complex business needs, processes and workflows
• Leading specific streams of the project where needed
• Working across multiple functions and geographies to secure stakeholder needs and expectations
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of expansion, and to support decision making

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• 10 years of experience as a project manager
• Business analyst skills a plus
• Ability to bring structure to complex topics
• Ability to think end to end, and see potential impacts and risks associated
• Strong communication, verbal, written and listening skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to develop strong partnerships with wide range of stakeholders
• Growth mindset with ability to thrive in ambiguous & complex environment
• You are an agile and resourceful team player
• Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
• Curiosity and ability to understand the business to enable good decisions
