We are looking for an:

experienced Railway
Project Manager

to take full responsibility for the delivery of a customer contract focused on
locomotives with ETCS systems
. The role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the project core team, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
  • Act as the main customer interface, representing the company in all project-related discussions and reviews.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, promoting clear communication and alignment on priorities.
  • Prepare and lead project and financial reviews, ensuring accurate reporting and performance tracking.
  • Drive technical and organizational discussions with the customer to resolve open issues and clarify requirements.
  • Develop and manage variation orders, and lead related commercial negotiations with the client.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, project governance, and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in railway field.
  • Strong understanding of ETCS or train control systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with international clients.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Availability for partial on-site work in Zurich.
