Role Description

Belvoir Capital is looking for a Head of Portfolio Management to lead and inspire our Asset Management team across Zurich and Lugano. This is a strategic and operational leadership role for a professional who enjoys both setting direction and managing portfolios directly. You will be responsible for taking decisions, ensuring execution and acting as the reference point and leader for a team of dedicated professionals.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, develop and motivate our Asset Management team
  • Serve as a senior counterpart to internal stakeholders and senior relationship managers (act as an investment advisor)
  • Act as a hands-on portfolio manager, contributing directly to investment decisions and running portfolios with an active approach based on fundamentals, technical analysis, and momentum factors
  • Integrate AI-driven insights and tools into the investment workflow and decision-making process
  • Lead the Investment Committee and Investment Product Meetings
  • Coordinate with the Group Asset Management / CIO teams
  • Maintain buy-side lists and oversee new product launches and contribute to the development of differentiated, boutique-style alpha strategies
  • Strive for performance and excellence, building differentiated, boutique-style alpha

What we're looking for:

  • A senior investment professional (10+ years of experience) with a fresh, innovative mindset
  • Structured asset management experience, with the agility to operate in a boutique setting
  • Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
  • A naturally curious mindset on financial markets and openness to using technology to improve processes and client engagement
  • Strong interest and experience in equities, combined with the ability to manage diversified, multi-asset portfolios
  • Italian and German fluency strongly preferred
  • Based in Zurich or Lugano, with some travel between the two
