**Vacancy**:Head of Group Accounting (f/m/x)**:

- We are looking for a Head of Group Accounting (f/m/x) to start immediately or by agreement for our client, a manufacturing company within the medical industry in Basel. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant.

**Your Responsibilities as** **Head of Group Accounting (f/m/x)**
- Manage and lead the global corporate accounting and financial consolidation
- Responsible for month-end/annual closings according to IFRS
- Build up, lead and develop the group accounting
- Development of consolidation processes as well as implementation of a new consolidations system
- Provision of technical guidance for IFRS accounting and preparation of an accounting manual
- First contact person for all stakeholders and external consultancies

**Your Qualification and Skills**
- Bachelor / master's in finance, business administration or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leading group accounting and consolidations role within a multinational company
- BIG4 experience would be a plus
- In-dept knowledge of ERP-Systems, SAP preferred
- Advanced knowledge in MIS Systems like Tagetik, LucaNet or equivalent
- Excellent English speaker, German and other languages would be an advantage
- Hands-on and motivated personality with a passion for building things
- Empathic with excellent stakeholder management
