About Brainforest
Brainforest is the venture platform for forests and biodiversity. We back visionary founders tackling the nature crisis with scalable, innovative business models. By 2035, we aim to:

- Support 100 nature startups and 500 entrepreneurs
- Help protect or restore 50 million hectares of forest
- Mobilize over CHF 500M in capital into nature-based solutions

We're a passionate team of sustainability professionals, startup builders, and ecosystem shapers. Today, we run our Venture Program twice a year and actively work with 7 startups in our portfolio. We operate in a hybrid work structure (Zürich office + home office), value short decision paths, and foster a culture of fun, feedback, and mutual support.
Tasks
**Your Role**: Venture Program & Impact Lead
You’ll be the operational backbone of our Venture Program and Impact workstream, ensuring our cohorts run smoothly, our startups thrive, and our ecosystem stays engaged.
Your Responsibilities
Venture Program Leadership
- Define internal KPIs and guide program planning and execution
- Coordinate the VP team’s day-to-day responsibilities
- Organize all program logistics (calendars, expert bookings, recordings, venues)
- Scout and manage relationships with expert mentors based on startup needs
- Lead corporate partnership outreach to enable startup pilots and validation
- Select and invite jury members for each cohort
- Coach 1-3 startups per cohort, providing strategic and operational support
- Own and execute our flagship Pitch Event (venue, flow, tech, catering, moderation)
- Run retrospectives and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Monitor the VP budget and manage invoices for expert engagements

Impact Workstream
- Lead Brainforest’s impact reporting and refine our methodology
- Support startups in defining impact KPIs and Theories of Change
- Represent and evolve our impact narrative with funders and partners
- Conduct interviews and facilitate strategic dialogues around impact metrics

Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Be the go-to contact for mentors, corporates, experts, and funders
- Set up clear collaboration formats and smooth onboarding processes
- Draft and manage partnership contracts as needed
- Lead documentation and presentations for our Steering Committee

**Requirements**:
You Bring
- 3-6 years of relevant experience (e.g. operations, consulting, startup, VC, or impact sector)
- Master Degree from top-tier university
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Interest or experience in startup support, innovation programs, or venture building
- Familiarity with impact measurement or sustainability topics is a plus
- Proactive, low-ego, humble-confident mindset
- Fluency in English required; German language skills are a plus
