Brainforest is the first venture platform for forests and biodiversity. We back bold founders building nature ventures that protect and restore ecosystems at scale. Our 2035 goals:

- Back 100 nature startups, support 500 entrepreneurs
- Protect or restore 50 million hectares of forest
- Mobilize over CHF 500M in capital into nature-based solutions

We're a passionate team of sustainability professionals, startup builders, and ecosystem shapers. Today, we run our Venture Program twice a year and actively work with 7 startups in our portfolio. We operate in a hybrid work structure (Zürich office + home office), value short decision paths, and foster a culture of fun, feedback, and mutual support.
Tasks
**Your Role**: Graduate - Startup Acceleration & Impact
As our Graduate, you’ll support our Venture Program, help build our Canopy Pool Investment Club, and assist across operations and events. You’ll work closely with startups, partners, and our leadership team, learning fast and contributing to meaningful work from day one.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position ideal for recent Master’s graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the impact and startup space.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day preparing and running of the Venture Program
- Collaborate directly with startup teams on operational and strategic tasks
- Help plan and execute events, pitch sessions, and expert workshops
- Take care of admin and budget support, including invoices and tracking
- Assist the team with ad-hoc tasks across partnerships, content, and logistics
- Contribute to the development of our Canopy Pool Investment Club, a platform mobilizing private capital into nature startups

**Requirements**:

- A completed Master’s degree (business, environmental science, innovation, or similar) from a top-tier university
- Fluency in English required; German language skills are a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
- A humble-confident attitude; you're driven, curious, and collaborative
- First experience through internships or student roles in startups, venture capital, consulting
