**Your area of responsibility**:

- As an Investments Financing & Structuring Associate, you will be supporting the senior financing and deals lead on the financing of transactions and refinancing of existing assets. With your specialized knowledge in the infrastructure debt space, you will be contributing to the financing process with the following responsibilities:
- Working in the financing expert function within the investments team, which is in charge of debt financing, structuring, corporate finance expertise development as well as insurance and tax related topics
- Supporting the origination, execution and structuring of all types of debt instruments on behalf of the investments team
- Monitoring and optimizing existing portfolio companies with regards to debt financing and structuring in close collaboration with respective asset owners
- Providing regular analysis of market updates to senior management and the investments team
- Further developing EIP’s network of lenders (incl. banks, infrastructure debt funds, governmental agencies)
- Coordinating annual and ad-hoc valuation and audit process within the investments team in close collaboration with several stakeholders, implement a best-in-class training framework for the investments team, covering the full range of relevant technical and soft skills

**Your skills and experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of infrastructure debt experience (e.g. corporate finance, infrastructure fund) and a strong network with international banks and other lending financial institutions
- Excellent academic background with completed studies in business administration or natural/engineering sciences with a degree from a globally recognized top-tier university or business school
- Familiar with investment structures, project financing and strong commercial and technical expertise with high affinity for energy technologies and power markets combined with strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting as well as experience with financial modelling
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk analysis and evaluation, including complex corporate structures, tax and legal issues
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex topics
- Problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit who is adaptable and has desire to explore new sectors and approaches to investment/asset management in infrastructure
