Verve Ventures is looking for a Deeptech Investment Associate, preferably based in Zurich, who will have the responsibility to source, analyze and execute the most promising investments. We offer you a career path with a steep learning curve. In your daily work, you will meet and work with some of the brightest entrepreneurs in Europe and help enable them to bring the latest technologies and products to the market.

**As an Investment Associate at Verve Ventures, you will**
- Screen and source startups
- Conduct due diligence and evaluate investment opportunities together with industry experts
- Structure financing rounds
- Guide startups and investors through the investment process
- Support portfolio companies
- Work in business development and contribute to Verve Ventures’ investment strategy and ecosystem development

**Requirements**:
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t tick all of the boxes below. We value an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability and willingness to learn the most.
- Previous work experience of 1 or 2 years preferably in venture capital or in a startup
- University master's degree or PhD, preferably in a scientific or engineering discipline
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a keen interest in new technologies, entrepreneurship and venture capital
- Strong people and communication skills
- Full written and spoken fluency in English Network and experience in the startup and VC ecosystem is a strong plus
