**Research Assistant**
**80-100 % **:The Institute of Parasitology is a joint institute of the Veterinary and the Medical faculty of the University of Zurich. The Molecular Parasitology Lab focuses on cell and molecular biology of the zoonotic pathogen
_Toxoplasma gondii _and other Apicomplexa.
**Your responsibilities**: A position is available for a research assistant involved in cell culture, molecular and infection biology as well as general laboratory tasks. The position requires independent working as well as teamwork.
**Your profile**: We are looking for a motivated yound scientist (MS and/or PhD) with a strong background and experience in cell culture techniques and molecular biology. Skills in fluorescence microscopy is an asset.
A good command of English is mandatory, basic German knowledge is also an asset.

The position is for one year with the possibility for prolongation.
