**Our client is part of a family-owned business that has been built over generations. Direct investment activities were consolidated over 20 years ago to form a group with subsidiaries in Europe and North America. We are seeking a dynamic executive assistant for one of the group’s investment firms, which has new offices based in Zug, Switzerland. This newly created full-time position offers more than a traditional assistant role, as you will take on more responsibilities while working with an agile manager who is in frequent contact with the company’s founders and entrepreneurs.**
**Executive Assistant (German-speaking) to CEO and Founder**

**About the Role | Tasks & Responsibilities**
Primarily, you should be confident working across multiple disciplines and occasionally delving into unfamiliar territories. The key parts of this job include providing administrative support for the CEO's business actions and serving as the primary point of contact for board members, portfolio companies, and partners. The CEO needs someone resilient to manage his busy diary, act as a gatekeeper, and prioritize his day. By working closely with the CEO in a combined PA/business-focused role, you will quickly become a core team member who sets the pace for the team. Additional duties include:
- Providing top-notch assistance to the CEO, which includes proactively managing his agenda, handling correspondence, shadow-reading mail, arranging and preparing for meetings and pitches, and handling multiple tasks in a self-directed way.
- Managing logistics and travel; communicating information regarding project briefs to other key personnel.
- Prioritizing and handling all matters arising during the workday, including late-running meetings or other challenges.
- Establishing and building rapport with clients and portfolio companies and the company’s German site.
- Ensuring deadlines are met without direct supervision.
- Performing general business duties, such as drafting documents, preparing presentations, responding to routine inquiries, ad hoc tasks, and sometimes taking care of personal errands.

You are dedicated, flexible, and organized. You are a motivated professional whose planning skills are second to none - unfazed by last-minute changes to plans or dealing with the unexpected. You go with the flow, and you are fun to work with and have a get-things-done attitude, especially when under pressure. Additional job requirements include:
- Commercial apprenticeship, bachelor’s degree followed by 8+ years of experience working as an **executive assistant** (ideally in private equity, financial services, or an entrepreneurial environment).
- Conscientious, self-starter who can quickly adapt to and execute tasks in an organized manner.
- **Native German speaker** with fluency in English; Swiss German would be a major advantage.
- Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Proactive approach with exceptional agenda management skills; adept at juggling scheduling demands.
- Attention to detail, with expert time management and follow-through skills.
- Agile and creative thinking with proven problem-solving skills; able to analyze situations accurately and decide the proper course of action; capable of identifying necessary improvements.
- Social competence, a strong sense of gravitas, and confidence in acting as an ambassador for the company.
- Flexibility to work outside regular working hours when needed.
