We are looking for a VP Sales to complement our top-level management team and to further build out our direct and indirect sales & marketing activities following our successful Series A.
- As a VP Sales you take a strategic role within our team to further build up our customer acquisition functions to reach more than $ 10 Mio. in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
**YOUR MISSION**:
- Develop and execute on our sales strategy to achieve our targets through direct and indirect sales activities and building upon partner channels.
- Further build out and maintain our Ideal Customer Profile and Buyer Personas. Collect and understand detailed customer needs to feedback, influence and help refine our product roadmap, positioning and pricing.
- Balance between long term strategy and sense of urgency to close deals.
- Build and maintain close relationships with customers and prospects.
- Build up a high-performing sales team and promote an outcome-focussed and accountability culture.
- Manage our sales team and build upon our compensation / incentive schemes to align them with our strategic goals.
- Make sure our sales functions work ‘like a machine’ and can generate highly reliable and repeatable new revenues.
- Create and communicate sales goals internally and ensure the management team is informed on the progress of these goals.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Sales
- and Marketing-Management or similar.
- 15+ years' experience in professional B2B sales in the area of Software as a Service (SaaS), with deal sizes of $ 35K-500K ARR.
- 15+ years' experience with building structured sales processes & systems in the tech industry.
- 10+ years' experience in inspiring and leading a high-performing sales teams in the tech industry.
- 5+ years' experience in recruiting sales professionals.
- Experience in high-growth environments: You have worked in e.g. a successful Series B start-up or smaller SME with strong revenue growth, rather than at an established large organization.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Confident and experienced in front of C-Level decision makers.
- Highly energetic, outgoing sales character and more of a hunter than farmer kind of person.
- Previously managed $ 10+ Mio. annual revenue targets, having sold complex software products.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Fluent in English is a prerequisite.
- Understanding what ‘working in a start-up’ means - truly believing in the product and vision. Able to deal with uncertainty.
