Our team plays a key role in supporting trading operations by:

- Managing accounting for the trading flows both with third parties and intercompany companies across business lines (EP, MS, RC, etc.)
- Ensuring deadlines and accuracy to protect the integrity of group-level accounts
- Reacting quickly to business changes (new flows, JV developments, biofuels expansion, etc.)
- Collaborating closely with Financial Reporting, Operations, Middle Office, and other key functions
- Maintaining **confidentiality and integrity** of trading financial data

**Activités***:
As a **Trading Accountant**, you’ll report directly to the **Accounting Manager** and work as part of a team of **19 professionals**. This position is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in accounting of **trading physical and derivative flows**, while working closely with cross-functional teams and gaining exposure to major changes in the energy business.

**Main Responsibilities**

**Trading Accounting**
- Accurately record and verify provisions and invoices for trading books
- Monitor trading data in collaboration with Operators
- Analyse monthly trading results with Middle Office and Trading Operations
- Identify and correct accounting discrepancies; report findings transparently
- Calculate and interpret TVM (Time Value of Money)
- Support external auditors with detailed insights and clear documentation
- Adapt processes and controls in response to accounting or business changes

**IT Development & Reporting**
- Modernize and simplify accounting tools and reports (VBA, Python, Power BI)
- Actively support the team’s tech lead and contribute to system enhancements
- Become a key point of contact for reporting and automation topics
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in **Finance or Accounting**:

- ** 1-3 years** of experience in accounting
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as **SAP and SAGE**:

- Strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and in evolving environments
- Proficiency in **English and French**:

- Strong IT mindset — skills in **Python and Power BI are a major plus**:
