Fast-paced trading environment requires the jobholder to be able to work both autonomously and a team to produce quick results. Global trading environment involves communication to be sent and received in several languages.

The role operates within a changing energy market mainly due to environmental and regulatory impacts and requirements.

In house systems requires deep collaboration with other departments and IT teams to implement.

**Job Dimension**:
Energy Data Management team consists of 8 FTE based in Geneva and is managing all detailed data supplied by 45 market system operators and providers, within 10 markets on power and gas, in a centralised database portal to calculate imbalances and costs associated with physical trades on behalf of the 40 market access affiliated contracts of TotalEnergies.

The Energy Data Portfolio Analyst is responsible for data retrieval within their portfolio, coordinating with IT and the T/DSOs. This role includes controlling and analysing the retrieved volumes, addressing any disputes, and updating the deals in the ETRM. The team supports business development across additional markets and less-carbonized commodities.

The team acts as the direct liaison to market system operators, ensuring continuous data collection from various sources. They are responsible for comparing volumes, performing controls and analysis, and cleaning the data. This enables seamless and flexible access to accurate and robust data, which is then shared with both internal and external stakeholders. The Energy Data Management team collaborates with relevant departments to ensure the accuracy of volumetric data when implementing it into the trading system and reviews the robustness of all internal systems related to this data.

**What you will do**:
The Energy Data Portfolio Intern will work closely with the Energy Data Portfolio analysts on the French renewables scope.

Thus, your main tasks will be the following:

- Ensuring allocation data is received in a timely manner in the EDM system and communicating to TSO/DSO to retrieve missing volumes
- Analysing and controlling volumetric data daily to identify anomalies and inconsistencies before updating the ETRM.
- Assisting and building with Energy Data Portfolio Analysts, dashboards, reports and alerts on volumetric data to improve the data quality.
- Producing key performance measures and indicators around data quality of the assets.
- In coordination with Energy Data Portfolio Analysts, request Guarantees of Origins issuance to EEX every month.
- Updating procedures to ensure clarity and feasibility of process reference.

**Your profile**:

- Educational standard required: Engineering or Finance background preferred.
