Lawyer Fund Management
Tasks
Working closely with internal and external specialists, investors and potential investors / Supporting specialist teams in the launch of investment funds and managed accounts / Drafting fund offering documents, managing execution and closing processes and documentation for complex private alternative funds and investments / Supporting legal due diligence for each type of fund investment / Advise on the regulation, establishment, management, governance and marketing of private market funds investing in e.g. private equity, private credit, private real estate, private infrastructure and impact investments / Controlling primary commitments to external managers, secondary investments, co-investments, liquid and multi-strategy funds in key fund domiciles globally / Assisting portfolio management teams with transaction execution and fund structuring and project management / Working with internal and external tax and legal advisors.
**Requirements**:
Degree in Law or Business Law / LL.M. a plus / Legal experience in the fund industry with a fund manager, bank, law firm or Big4 consultancy / Familiar with fund structures, transactions and All-round knowledge of tax / Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented / Strong written and verbal communication skills / Strong client service orientation / Team player / adept at developing interpersonal relationships / Willingness to perform in a challenging business environment / Ability to work with and organize a variety of documents /Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines / strong interest in project management with an efficient working style / Proficient with MS Office / German as well as English (oral and written).
